Summertime

In the summer, I often draw very little or not at all. This summer is no different. Currently, we have very hot weather, and I can hardly wait for autumn to begin. For me, the best time of the year starts from mid or late September, with Halloween and Christmas.

However, I can't go completely without drawing, even in the summer, but it's mostly sketches that I do (which I don't always share). Some time ago, I bought the new iPad that came out this year. It was a good upgrade from the one I bought 5 or 6 years ago, and I draw on it more often than with my WACOM graphic tablet. It's just very convenient, and it's also a lot of fun to draw with it :) One of the best purchases I made this year.

iPad sketches

This week, I did two sketches on my new iPad :)

Here you can see Kirilya, one of my newest OCs. Unfortunately, there is no colored illustration of her yet. I hope I'll be motivated to finish one someday ^^

This is Aru, I've already got a few illustrations of her in the gallery. She's also one of my oldest characters and I really like her, mainly because I have a lot of fun drawing her. I don't know why, but some characters are just more fun to draw than others, even if that doesn't necessarily mean you like them more than others you might not draw as often.

Social Media Nowadays

I really miss Twitter. I already had a bad feeling when Elon Musk took over Twitter, but I never imagined it would turn out to be this awful.

In the end, all I saw was advertisements, and it was all swamped with bots 😰.

I'm also not really warming up to Instagram. Maybe that will change someday.

Fortunately, there's Bluesky as a very good alternative 💙. Recently, you can even embed posts on websites, so I'm going to try that out right here :)
